There were 4 teams of SCCP students that made it to the Final Four competition today.  Each team had written a full business plan for a new startup or purchase of an existing pharmacy.   The written plans were graded to determine the finalists.   The 4 finalist teams then developed a 15 minute presentation that was presented before a live audience and panel of judges today.   

 

Results:

1st Place:  Viera Pharmacy – Meg Peer, Jamison Holgate, Emily Moose, Shelby Merchant

Prize:  $1500 scholarship awards for each student, all-expenses paid trip to the Cardinal Health Retail Business Conference in Chicago this July.  Total estimated value of award package = $12,000

2nd Place:  Sea Pines Specialty Pharmacy – Andrew Swaller, Patrick Holloway

Prize:  $1000 scholarship awards for each student

3rd Place (Tie):  Healthwise Pharmacy -  Evangeline Schoonover, Katelyn Shatz, Ryan Sykes, Rebecca Bates    &    Upright Pharmacy -  Nathaniel Russell, Reina Shimozono, Kim Bucher

Prize:  $500 scholarship awards for each student

 

On behalf of the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center we commend these students for the tremendous effort they put into this competition. 

The results were truly innovative and phenomenal.   Job well done by all!
